Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking an engineering student/entry role to support hardware development tasks. You will work on drawings, prototype builds, and data gathering, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing and quality control.

The position emphasizes hands-on learning, exposure to Oracle systems, Unigraphics, and office tools, and requires pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a strong GPA. Full-time rotation work is expected.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and maintaining a satisfactory grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Motivated to learn and take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to work professionally with diversified workforce.
  • General proficiency of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, etc…)
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to lead and possess the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Work full-time during assigned rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Detail and assembly drawing maintenance on Unigraphics System.
  • Creating drawings from sketches and layouts.
  • Prototype design and building under supervision.
  • Prototype testing under supervision.
  • Learn to use Oracle system and become fluent with gathering/analyzing data from the system.
  • Ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams.
  • Assist in product support areas to improve manufacturing, quality control, and sales.
  • Assist in local field testing.
  • Assist with Bill of Materials maintenance.
  • Other activities as identified.

Accountabilities:

Performs any engineering tasks as required by the Engineering Manager. Works with various personnel as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Physical Work Requirements:
  • Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, squatting.
  • Must be able to work with chemicals and fiberglass.
  • Small hand tools, material pallet jack, hand router, drill press.
  • Lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Work in office and manufacturing/lab environment.
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE
Required Qualification Skills:
