Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree
• Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as PTC Creo, 3DX/CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX
• Demonstrated successful group collaboration and/or individual project work, ideally in a mechanics or design area
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues

Responsibilities

• Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles
• Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM
• Interacting with IPT, suppliers, Global Supply Chain, packaging, optics, and analysts to ensure design excellence
• Contributing to drawing releases, responding to CRs, generating CNs, and supporting change boards and design reviews
• Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, performance, and structural/thermal benefits
