Job summary

Emphasis on innovative problem-solving and engineering changes. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree, with CAD proficiency (Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree; proficiency with CAD tools (Creo, 3DX/CATIA, SolidWorks, NX).
• Demonstrated collaboration or project work in mechanics or design; strong problem-solving and hands-on site experience.
• Familiarity with design processes and drawing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and test articles.
• Build BOMs and design documentation within Windchill PLM.
• Coordinate with IPT, suppliers, Global Supply Chain, packaging, optics, and structural/thermal analysts to ensure design excellence.
• Contribute to drawing releases, handle Change Requests, generate Change Notices, support change boards and design reviews.
• Conduct design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, performance, and structural/thermal benefits.
