Qualifications:
- A BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) degree is required.
- 2–5 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering or related role is desired.
- Project Management experience is required.
- Hydraulic system design experience is preferred.
- Experience with industrial equipment, rotating machinery, or power systems is highly desired.
- A Professional Engineering license is highly desired.
- Experience with machine design, including structural design, assemblies, subassemblies, weldments, and components is required.
- Experience in generating, maintaining, and updating product Bills of Materials is desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is a plus.
Areas of Focus:
- Designing high-pressure water pump skids and trailers, ranging from 60 to 1,000 HP. These systems are powered by electric motors or diesel engines and include mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components.
- Project management of customer orders, including creating, updating, and maintaining Bills of Materials, and close collaboration with Operations and Service teams to ensure on-time execution.
- Supporting the integration of hydraulic and mechanical components into complete pump systems.
- Product and component redesign for quality improvement, performance optimization, or cost reduction.
Level of Responsibility:
- Full project management from receipt of order to on-time delivery to the customer.
- Managing multiple projects and timelines, while elevating conflicts or roadblocks for resolution.
- Product maintenance/sustaining work related to obsolescence, cost reduction, and error correction.
