Job summary

Odyssey Information Services in Shawnee, OK is seeking an early‑to mid‑career Mechanical Engineer to design and develop complex mechanical components and systems. You will be involved hands‑on across the product lifecycle, from concept through production support.

You will create 3D CAD models and drawings, support testing and validation, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and BD teams to optimize cost, manufacturability, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of mechanical design or product development experience.
  • Experience creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, Autodesk, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
