Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to manage and oversee the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will act as a key contributor to product development, ensuring that all engineering designs meet strict quality, performance, and safety standards from concept through manufacturing.

Core Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD) in accordance with industry standards (GD&T).
  • Analysis & Simulation: Perform mechanical stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis (FEA/CFD) to validate designs and optimize structural integrity.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build, test, and evaluate prototypes; execute testing protocols to verify design performance and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
  • Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and resolve production line challenges.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for electrical, software, and systems engineering teams during product integration.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field (Required).
Experience
  • 0–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills (Required)
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor) and GD&T drafting standards.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles (statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science).
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools (FEA / Simulation).
  • Hands-on testing, prototyping, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Document Control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
