The Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems for new and existing buildings, supporting MEP/FP and energy-focused project work. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Malvern, PA, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical design drawings and specifications, performing calculations for HVAC and mechanical systems, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design integration and compliance with codes and standards. The engineer will assist with CAD modeling, equipment selection, and system layouts, and support documentation for permitting, commissioning, and sustainability certifications.
