TechniPower, Inc. in the York, PA area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a contract-to-hire engagement in the Manufacturing industry.

You will develop mechanical designs that meet cost and schedule objectives and customer requirements, working on-site with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years CAD experience (Inventor NX preferred), and proven ability to manage drawings, task lists, schedules, and budgets through design

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• 3D CAD design experience, Inventor and NX preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to participate in design reviews and kickoff meetings.
• Prepare and update task lists, track schedules and budgets.
• Review and approve drawings and interface with other departments.

I have a client in the York, PA area that has an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

In this role, you will be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a client in the Manufacturing Industry. This position will be responsible for mechanical designs that meet cost and schedule objectives and customer requirements.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years experience
• Ability to do 3D design - Experience with Inventor and NX preferred
• Experience with equipment or sheet metal knowledge is preferred
• Experience with attending job kick-off meetings and participating in design reviews with customers
• Prepare and update task lists
• Track schedules and budgets
• Review and approve drawings
• Interface with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues
