Job summary

Mohawk Lifts LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop automotive lifting equipment. The role involves leading projects from concept through production, performing stress analysis, and maintaining CAD drawings and BOMs.

• Experience taking products from concept through production release.
• Valid driver’s license; hydraulic knowledge a plus.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer
• At least 3 years of design experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving capital equipment
• Strong CAD experience required; Autodesk Inventor preferred
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and stress analysis
• Experience developing products from concept through production release
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus
• Electrical engineering knowledge or experience is a plus
