Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer in Alabama for a full-time role with strong salary and benefits. You will review project specs, perform engineering design, and engage with owners, clients, architects, and subcontractors to drive value engineering on major HVAC/plumbing projects.

A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is required, with 5+ years of HVAC design experience; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC engineering and design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Navisworks and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Review project specifications, design, identify value engineering, and calculations accurately.
• Attend events, job sites, and meet closely with Owners, clients, architects, subcontractors and MEP-Design Engineers.
