Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Mechanical Wet Commissioning and Startup (CSU) Engineer to support the safe planning and field execution of commissioning activities for wet mechanical and hydronic utility systems at a semiconductor manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio.

You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations to ensure systems are complete, tested, and ready for turnover.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mission critical facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, piping plans, and equipment drawings.
• Knowledge of wet mechanical and hydronic systems is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain commissioning plans, procedures, and turnover requirements for assigned systems.
• Review diagrams and vendor submittals for commissioning readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure handover readiness.
• Lead or support inspections, testing, and startup activities.
• Prepare documentation and turnover packages with complete records.
