Thermal Concepts in South Florida is seeking a Construction Project Sales Executive to drive business growth across mechanical construction projects. The role blends estimating expertise, client management, and sales strategy to secure new opportunities and support project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years in commercial HVAC, estimating, and business development, with hands-on experience in reviewing drawings, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, estimating, project sales, or business development.
• Proven success developing estimates and securing commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC installation methods, construction practices, and project delivery processes.
• Experience using estimating software like Trimble AutoBid, FastPIPE, FastDUCT, Bluebeam.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, property owners, engineers, architects, and consulting firms.
• Generate new project opportunities through networking, events, referrals, and prospecting.
• Lead client meetings, project walkthroughs, and solution-based sales presentations.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain and expand a pipeline of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and institutional projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and overhead.
• Develop competitive project proposals and bid packages for HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and specialty systems.
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate costing.
• Analyze project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Participate in bid reviews, estimate presentations, and contract negotiations.
