Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Mechanical Construction (APM) for its San Diego, CA operations. This full‑time role supports planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical projects while collaborating with project managers, field personnel, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in construction or mechanical engineering, a strong grasp of project controls, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 5–7 years of construction-related work experience, preferably mechanical construction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and Quotesoft.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and productivity of field personnel on mechanical construction projects.
• Assist with project quality assurance to meet standards and regulations.
• Coordinate project activities, materials, and equipment procurement to maintain timelines.
• Monitor and report on project financials, including projections and cost management.
• Facilitate change order management and document all changes through the lifecycle.
• Maintain positive owner and client relations and address inquiries promptly.
• Support personnel management with clear communication and adherence to policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal operating policies, plans, and programs.
