IMEG Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op Intern in Raleigh, NC.

The role involves assisting with design portions of projects, researching equipment options, and maintaining clear client communications while keeping project records up to date. You will coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and technology disciplines, document decisions, and support through reviews and addenda.

Formación

• 2 years toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Skilled in AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with design portions of projects per IMEG standards and codes.
• Research resources for commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and document design decisions for permanent records.
• Coordinate design and schedule with disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, suppliers).
• Document decisions, meetings, and client instructions promptly while tracking progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy prior to final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations as required by the contract services agreement.
