Highland Consulting Group seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager - Mechanical for a regional mechanical contractor in the Baltimore, MD area. The role supports the Project Manager on commercial and industrial mechanical projects, including piping, plumbing, and sheet metal systems.

Candidates with four or more years of Assistant Project Manager experience on large-scale mechanical projects are preferred.

Competenze

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish project timelines and budgets.
Experience with cost estimating and procurement.

Mansioni

Assist the Project Manager in managing and supervising all phases of assigned projects.
Manage the submittal process.
Prepare and respond to requests for information (RFIs).
Assist with change order negotiations and maintain change order logs.
Work with the Project Manager to manage project budgets and approve all expenses.
Serve as a point of contact for the owner on assigned projects.
Assemble and maintain complete project records and closeout documents.
Prepare and manage project schedules.
Coordinate punch-list inspections with the Project Manager, superintendent, and owner’s representative; issue punch lists to relevant subcontractors.
Estimate change orders.
Support contract administration.
Assist with the buyout of subcontracts and equipment.
