Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise on the Chippewa Falls area is seeking a Mechanical Assembly specialist for a weekend shift. The role operates Fri–Sun 6:00am–6:30pm, onsite, with 36 hours paid as 40. You will run hand tools and production equipment, support QA, and follow documentation for testing and testing processes.

The candidate will contribute to process improvements, assist with lifecycle activities, and help train new staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Fluency in English and the local language.
• Strong mathematics, reading comprehension, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical capability.
• Proficiency with basic computer and software tools.
• Strong teamwork, coordination, and multitasking abilities.

• Execute a wide range of task‑oriented manufacturing activities using hand tools and production machinery.
• Operate multiple machines and support quality assurance processes.
• Follow detailed documentation and instructions for testing, inspecting, or advanced rack building.
• Identify simple to complex opportunities for process improvement and seek guidance as needed.
• Assist with products throughout the lifecycle, including auditing materials and builds for quality assurance.
• Support the training of new employees and coordinate tasks within a team.
• Understand and execute to customer expectations, including CTO expectations.

Position location: Onsite, primarily at an HPE office. Shift hours: 6:00am – 6:30pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Work is 36 hours per week, paid for 40 hours.
