Job summary

Amatrol in Jeffersonville, Indiana, is seeking Mechanical Assembly Technicians at Levels 2–4 to assemble mechanical systems, read blueprints, inspect components, and test completed assemblies in a clean, climate-controlled facility. Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical assembly or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems, equipment, and training products according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Perform testing and verification of completed assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Follow established safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Higher-level technicians may assist with training, mentoring, and complex assembly tasks
