PVA TePla AG in Wettenberg, a leading high-tech company, seeks a skilled industrial mechanic for mechanical assembly, pneumatic installation, and on-site installation/commissioning of our machines and systems.

You will troubleshoot faults, document work in the internal system, and collaborate with Design and Manufacturing to ensure smooth development. German language skills are essential; English is a plus; occasional travel to customer sites in Germany and abroad may occur.

Qualifications

• Vocational training as industrial mechanic or related technical profession.
• Experience in special-purpose machinery is a plus.
• Good German language skills; English knowledge is an advantage.

Your Responsibilities

• You pre-assemble modules and functional units, laying the foundation for smooth operations
• You are responsible for the mechanical assembly and pneumatic installation of our machines and systems
• You support the installation and commissioning of the machines on site
• You are responsible for troubleshooting as well as the systematic identification and analysis of faults
• You document all work carried out in the company's internal operating system
• You work closely with the Design and Manufacturing departments, jointly ensuring smooth development operations and serving as a key interface within our team

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, or in a comparable technical profession. Further training as a state-certified technician specializing in mechanical engineering or mechatronics is an advantage
• Professional experience in special-purpose machinery is a plus
• You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken; knowledge of English is an advantage
• You work conscientiously, independently, and in a structured manner, always taking the specific system configuration into account
• You see occasional business trips to customer sites in Germany and abroad as a welcome change
