Your Responsibilities
- You commission complex, microprocessor‑controlled vacuum and plasma systems - either at our facility or directly on‑site at the customer's location
- You test software functions and ensure everything runs smoothly
- You prepare meaningful commissioning and safety reports
- You assemble electrical (and mechanical) components and carry out initial test runs
- You perform maintenance and repairs as part of planned service assignments
- You instruct our customers in the operation of the systems and provide competent training
Your Profile
- You are a certified technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering - or have a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- You understand how machines and systems work - and enjoy thinking one step ahead
- You are familiar with S7‑1500, TIA Portal, and safety PLCs, and ideally have experience with vacuum systems
- You are confident in using a PC as a professional tool
- You enjoy working independently - especially in field service
- You have a good command of English; additional languages are a plus
- You are well organized, a team player, and present yourself in a friendly and confident manner
- Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 40%) is a matter of course for you - you see it as an opportunity not only to discover countries, but also to win over customers
