Job summary

PVA TePla AG is seeking a skilled technician to perform commissioning and testing on complex ultrasonic microscopes in the semiconductor industry. You will work closely with project management and assist with installation, primarily in-house, and occasionally at customer sites.

Your Responsibilities

• You will perform commissioning, functional, and acceptance tests on complex, fully automated ultrasonic microscopes for the semiconductor industry—in accordance with defined test plans and customer specifications
• Working closely with project management, you will complete the test and acceptance documentation in accordance with contractual requirements
• You will configure and set up components using device-specific software—and contribute your ideas for further development
• You will assemble electromechanical components, analyze wiring errors, make minor mechanical adjustments, and work closely with the manufacturing team
• You will be responsible for the assembly, troubleshooting of wiring, and mechanical finishing of manufactured parts
• As needed, you will also assist with on-site testing or commissioning—primarily in-house, occasionally at the customer’s site

Your Profile

• You have completed an apprenticeship in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics—ideally supplemented by further training to become a technician (m/f/d)
• Alternatively, you have completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, industrial electrician, or a comparable technical program, and ideally hold a technician (m/f/d) certification
• You have practical experience in the commissioning and testing of technical systems—including in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology
• Working with diagnostic tools, software configuration, and documentation comes naturally to you—you enjoy familiarizing yourself with new systems
• You are willing to travel occasionally for installations both domestically and abroad, but will primarily work in-house
• You have good written and spoken English skills—additional languages are welcome
