Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a manufacturing environment focused on engine and sub-assembly production. The role involves supporting engine, sub-assemblies, and kit assembly and testing with a hands-on mechanical mindset and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, assembling per instructions, using tools, and maintaining accurate MRP transactions. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for quality and productivity.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs and perform hands-on assembly.
  • Basic computer knowledge for MRP transactions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.

  • Learn and follow safety requirements while assembling and testing engines, sub-assemblies, and kits using documented procedures.
  • Assemble product according to instructions and drawings to meet quality requirements.
  • Use hand tools and/or power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, escalating issues to protect quality and throughput.
  • Complete inventory and job transactions in the MRP system, maintain a clean and organized work area.

Our client, a manufacturing environment focused on engine and sub-assembly production, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production team supporting engine, sub-assemblies, and kit assembly and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on mechanical mindset, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and a can-do attitude that helps them learn quickly and contribute to quality and productivity.

Job Title: Mechanical Assemblers

Pay Range: $22

Shift: Shift: M-F, 7:00AM-3:30PM

What's the Job?
  • Learn and follow plant safety requirements while assembling and testing engines, sub-assemblies, and kits using documented procedures.
  • Assemble product according to engineering assembly instructions and drawings to meet Quality requirements.
  • Use hand tools and/or power tools to complete assembly-related tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, escalating issues when needed to protect quality and throughput.
  • Complete inventory and job transactions in the Company MRP system, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
What's Needed?
  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to lift and handle 35 lbs. and perform hands-on assembly work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Basic computer knowledge to support MRP transactions and job documentation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with leadership and work effectively with a team.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly (2 years preferred) and/or assembly experience in a sub-assembly or manufacturing environment.
