Job summary

Lancesoft in San Diego, CA, is seeking an assembler to join a team that builds mechanical components, sub-assemblies and sheet metal enclosures. You will follow drawings, perform hand soldering, wire harnessing and cabling, and participate in go/no-go testing of circuits and assemblies.

You will document results, maintain logs, and assist with repairs as required. Strong reading/writing and basic math skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work from established drawings and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing.
• Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, enclosures and racks per drawings and diagrams.
• Perform routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, and assemblies.
• Document test results and maintain logs of malfunctions.
• Set up test devices using hand tools or automated methods and report findings.
• May perform repairs and other duties as needed.
