Job summary

Aerotek in Columbia, TN is hiring for a Mechanical Assembler. This contract-to-hire role involves electrical-mechanical assembly of panels, bezels, consoles, and small structures, plus testing of electronic systems.

You will follow engineering drawings, SOPs and work orders while maintaining quality and documenting processes. The position operates on first shift, onsite in Columbia, with a pay range of $25.00–$28.00 per hour and full-time benefits on eligible terms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in assembly and mechanical assembly work.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Minimum of 2 years of assembly and mechanical experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical-mechanical assembly work on components such as panel/driver boxes, bezels, and consoles.
• Perform minor testing on electronic systems to ensure functionality.
• Manufacture electro-mechanical products following work orders, drawings, schematics and SOPs.
• Inspect own work and peers to ensure quality.
• Operate hand tools and light manufacturing equipment.
• Document work processes and outcomes accurately.
