Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Huntsville, AL for a contract-to-hire role. You will assemble electro-mechanical subassemblies and inspect complex components according to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).

Responsabilités

• Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Perform mechanical-type assembly using hand and power tools.
• Work with a range of materials from heavy parts to small, intricate parts.
• Identify product defects and report to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate logs and records.
• Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

4A Mon - thur 5:30am - 4pm $16.00/hr

4B Mon - thur 4:00pm - 2:30pm $16.00/hr

3A Fri to Sun 6:00am to 6:00pm $16.00/hr

Location: Huntsville, AL

Hourly Range: $16.00/hr

Job Purpose: Assemble Electro-Mechanical Assemblies per specifications and inspect complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies.

Nature of Duties

• Read, comprehend, interpret & follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, & other written instructions. Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies
• Mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Working with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts
• Identify product defects and report on to appropriate personnel
• Keep accurate records/logs etc.
• Handling of ESD sensitive materials and equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided
• A strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, safely lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if required).
• Basic computer skills – email, work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of the English , both written and verbal.

Physical Demands: Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, vision and the ability to adjust focus.
