Job summary

Randstad USA in Huntsville, AL is seeking an assembler for electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies. The role involves wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, followed by setups and adjustments to blueprints while maintaining tolerances.

You will ensure a safe, clean work environment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs as needed. Shift is 4:00 PM to 2:45 AM; dress code applies.

Qualifications

• Experience performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow sequences and tolerances.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and perform in the 4:00 PM - 2:45 AM shift.

Responsibilities

As an assembler, you will performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. You will maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations. You will also ensure equipment remains operational by performing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when needed. This job required bending, lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
