Job summary

Chamberlain Group's Systems, LLC in Malvern, AR is seeking a Mechanical Assembler II to perform skilled fitting and mechanical or hydraulic assembly from drawings, using hand and power tools to build sub-assemblies.

Requirements include lifting up to 50 lb, standing/walking/sitting, and use of precision gauges; 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred though not required. Competitive pay with benefits and 401k available.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or demonstrated competence.
• Intermediate mechanical concepts and aptitude.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical/hydraulic assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using hand/power tools.
• Inspect to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Align, adjust, and perform secondary machining as needed.
• Read drawings and shop orders; use precision measuring instruments.
• Operate cranes, hoists or lift tables; report defects and maintain logs.
• Follow health, safety, and confidentiality guidelines; support team projects.
