Job summary

RTX is seeking a grinder/operator in Burnsville, MN to operate grinding equipment and perform precision manufacturing tasks. You will maintain equipment, follow safety policies, and ensure products meet quality standards, with opportunities for audits and continuous improvement involvement. The role requires a high school diploma and preferably 1 year of relevant experience.

U.S. Person status is required for employment eligibility and the position is onsite with shift from 3:00pm to 1:30am plus

What You Will Do
  • Operate grinding equipment and tools
  • Maintain proper care of manufacturing equipment

  • Route reworked assemblies for testing.
  • Clean completed assemblies.
  • Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.
  • May fabricate instrument parts through crimping, staking, and cutting.
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
  • Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
  • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.

The salary range for this role is $38,841 - $72,849. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
