Job summary

NOV Rig Technologies is seeking a skilled assembler to read blueprints and assembly prints, secure and assemble parts, and install finished subassemblies. You will perform tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment meets technical and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required; NOV offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics.
• Operate machines, hand tools, and power tools to secure and assemble parts.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies.
• Attach functional and cosmetic hardware using appropriate tools.
• Perform functional and continuity tests on completed assemblies.
• Prioritize work based on the production schedule.
• Assemble, start up, and function-test equipment systems.
• Troubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs or corrections.
• Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble pressure control equipment as needed.
