Job summary

NOV is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Assembler in Houston to read technical drawings and schematics, assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, and perform testing and troubleshooting. You will use hand and power tools, operate machinery, and support manufacturing operations in a safe, efficient manner.

Candidates should have at least three years of assembly experience, the ability to lift up to 45 pounds, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Three years of assembly and/or mechanical experience required.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools and assembly equipment.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work around heavy machinery.
Team-oriented but capable of working independently.
Commitment to safety and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and schematics to guide assembly.
Assemble, install, and modify electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Use hand and power tools and machinery for assembly.
Install finished assemblies and subassemblies per specifications.
Perform functional and operational testing on assemblies and systems.
Troubleshoot, identify issues, and implement repairs.
Prioritize tasks to support production schedules.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety policies.
