Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a on-site, full-time role in a precision manufacturing environment. The candidate will build complex equipment from technical drawings and schematics, fabricating subassemblies and complete systems while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, interpret BOMs, and troubleshoot assembly challenges in a hands-on setting. Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision pneumatic tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly problems and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and assemble mechanical subassemblies and components using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and integrate mechanical/electro-mechanical components with attention to tolerances and clearances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and routers.
• Inspect incoming components for fit, finish, and dimensions; perform quality inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust assemblies for proper fit and function.
