A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking assemblers for wind turbine power transmissions. Candidates should have experience in assembly and safety protocols, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and independent work. This role offers opportunities for growth and skill development in a supportive environment.
Performs assembly of wind turbine power transmissions and their subassemblies. Works from blueprints, parts lists, and assembly cards. Uses parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, forklift trucks, hand and power tools. Will shim and final assemble gear units. Capable of working independently, with other assemblers, and supervising lower-grade assemblers. May perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Candidates must have prior experience relevant to this role, either within the company or in a similar position elsewhere. The experience should include:
Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED, with 0-2 years of relevant industry experience. The candidate should possess a combination of formal education, training, and experience to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills.
