Job description

Job Summary

Salary Range: $17.00 to $24.00 Per Hour

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including experience level, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working shift.

This position offers floor support to the Manufacturing Team. It requires a positive attitude, willingness to support teamwork, and flexibility to move where needed on the manufacturing floor.

Training Schedule: The position will initially train on 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) for 1-2 weeks, then revert to the regular 2nd shift hours (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM). Differential pay applies only to hours worked on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide resources for assembly, testing, and packaging support for Medical Device Manufacturing Production Lines.
  2. Perform basic electro-mechanical assembly and quality control inspections, ensuring timely completion to meet quality and productivity goals.
  3. Utilize hand-held tools such as screwdrivers and electric torque drivers.
  4. Maintain appropriate inventory at the work station.
  5. Follow quality standards and established procedures.
  6. Identify and document product defects effectively.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Adhere to good manufacturing practices in all work steps.
  9. Complete required quality and production documentation.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

All employees are responsible for compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, according to their roles and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow step-by-step instructions
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to identify materials and information on parts
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift parts and components up to 30 pounds regularly
