Collins Aerospace in Foley, Alabama is seeking an onsite assembler for critical A320 Neo components. You will follow detailed drawings and use hand and power tools to ensure precise assembly, troubleshooting issues as needed, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and 1 year in mechanical assembly. Expect a Monday–Friday shift, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 1 year in mechanical assembly or related field preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and pneumatic tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints/diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test critical components for the A320 Neo program.
• Follow detailed drawings and blueprints to ensure precision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues with mechanical aptitude.
• Maintain high precision and safety standards while handling tools and machinery.

• Assemble and test critical components for the A320 Neo program.
• Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of parts.
• Utilize mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during assembly.
• Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail while working on complex and intricate components.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assemblies.
• Keep accurate records of assembly processes and any issues encountered.
• Continuously monitor and maintain the quality of assembled components.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any updates, issues, or concerns.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Mechanical Assembly Or Related Field Ability To Interpret And Understand Technical Drawings And Instructions Knowledge Of Basic Hand And Power Tools, Including Torque Wrenches And Pneumatic Tools Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Production Environment ualification we prefer: Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.. Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment. Self-directed & action oriented with the ability to work in a team environment to resolve most questions and problems. Relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction / facilities experience
