Job summary

Staffmark, in partnership with Flextronics, is now hiring Mechanical Assemblers in Dallas, TX. You will read blueprints, install and secure components, and perform quality checks to keep production lines running and orders moving out on time.

You’ll bring a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of assembly experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read diagrams and use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Shift is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of assembly experience encouraged.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble components accurately.
• Install, crimp, bolt, solder, and secure electrical and mechanical parts in cabinets, racks, and panels.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all assemblies meet specifications.
• Set up workstations and verify all materials match the assembly drawing.
• Assist with repairs, maintenance, and process improvements.
• Communicate issues and improvement ideas to leads, supervisors, and engineers.
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized.

Pay Rate: $19.50 – $20.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do

• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to assemble components accurately.
• Install, crimp, bolt, solder, and secure electrical and mechanical parts in cabinets, racks, and panels.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all assemblies meet specifications.
• Set up workstations and verify all materials match the assembly drawing.
• Assist with repairs, maintenance, and process improvements.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly (switchgear experience a plus).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic computer and microscope skills for precision assembly.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity for small parts and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to liftup to 20 lbs. (up to 50 lbs. for system-level assemblies).
• Work involves sitting, standing, and fine visual inspection (including color recognition).
