Aerotek is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a weekend shift in Thornton, Colorado. You will assemble high-precision equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality while working in a clean, safety-first environment.

Responsabilités

• Assemble scroll compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Work independently and within team-based assembly cells to meet production goals.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Support inventory activities, including annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, workflow, and organization.

Mechanical Assembler - Weekend Shift

Schedule

Weekend Day Shift

• Friday - Sunday

• 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

• 12% shift differential

Weekend Night Shift

• Friday - Sunday

• 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• 15% shift differential

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience, plus weekend shift differentials.

What You'll Do

• Assemble scroll compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• ISO 9001 or other regulated manufacturing environments.

• Aerospace, automotive, medical device, or precision manufacturing experience.

• Experience working in high-quality production environments with documented work instructions and procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Thornton, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
