Job summary

Dynamic Source Manufacturing Inc. in Tempe, AZ seeks an SSM (Selective Soldering Machine) Operator to operate and monitor PCB assembly equipment, ensuring precision and quality. The role includes setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance in a fast-paced electronics environment.

You will handle component placement and soldering tasks, perform visual inspections for accuracy, and support additional duties such as potting and wiring as needed. Shift work and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with machinery is an asset.
• Minimum grade 12 Diploma or GED – Technology Diploma would be an asset.
• Experience working in an electronics environment is an added advantage.
• Experience with component lead forming is an asset.
• Soldering experience, Class 2 is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards is an asset.
• Knowledge of J-STD-001 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring of machinery and related equipment/processes.
• Troubleshooting of equipment when problems arise.
• Setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Cleaning and performing operator preventative maintenance where required.
• Prepare and assemble electronic components into printed circuit board assemblies.
• Perform visual inspection of boards to confirm accurate placement and polarity of components, and compliance to workmanship standards.
• Performing other duties as required (potting, wire stripping, assembly, etc.).
