Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build bulk container handling equipment using drawings, schematics, and bills of materials. The role requires basic reading of documents, ability to perform mechanical and simple electrical assemblies, and attention to quality workmanship.

Responsibilites include quality checks, labor and material reporting, and kanban inventory management. This is an onsite position with opportunities for growth in a large industrial manufacturer.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and simple electrical components per drawings and schematics.
  • Perform quality checks and documentation for labor, materials, and scrap reports.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment and manage Kanban inventory.

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Mechanical Assembler requires a wide range of skills to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and simple electrical assemblies.

Major Responsibilities

Use Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, controls schematics and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and problem solve where needed. Engage in the reduction and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization. Reduce and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization. Utilize hand tools proficiently in performing the following tasks: Structural assembly, Mechanical drive assembly, Fluid control assembly, Guard and cover assembly, Mechanical assembly, simple electrical assembly. Work must represent quality workmanship, neatness, with acceptable efficiencies. Complete quality assurance checks for the Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. Blue Books. Provide accurate documentation skills that includes labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports. Execute Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC inventory re-ordering policies that includes "Kanban". Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, machine teardown.

Required Education / Experience / Skills

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Or one to three months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Blue Print Reading
