Job summary

Radyne Corporation in Oak Creek, WI is seeking an experienced assembler to build highly customized industrial equipment from the ground up in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.

You will read sketches, templates and blueprints, use handheld and power tools, and measure with calipers, tapes and levels. The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of related experience, with overtime availability and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to prepare reports and documentation. Ability to communicate with other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Read sketches, templates, and blueprints to guide assembly.
• Perform medium to heavy assembly using handheld and power tools.
• Read electrical schematics when available; follow safety rules and instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment (calipers, scales, levels, tape) for accuracy.
• Maintain attendance and be willing to work overtime and comply with housekeeping standards.

We are looking for an experienced Assembler that is comfortable working on highly customized industrial equipment from the ground up. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work from sketches, templates, blueprints and engineering documents.
• Must be experienced in medium to heavy assembly work through the use of handheld and power tools.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Being able to read an electrical schematic is a plus.
• Must have the ability to use precision measuring equipment (scales, levels, calipers, tape measure etc.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work for periods of times without direct supervision. .
• Must be regular in attendance and able & willing to work overtime.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving long periods of standing/sitting
• Must make us aware of any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
