We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.**$1000 Sign On****Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment* Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards* Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining* Work from drawings and specifications and shop orders* Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices* Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables* Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel* Keep accurate production records/logs etc.* Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams* Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies* Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed**Minimum Qualifications*** No minimum education required* 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area* Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude* Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds* Ability to stand, walk, and sit up* Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel* Ability to climb and balance* Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl* Ability to reach with hands and arms* Ability to see, talk, and hear**Preferred Qualifications**Prior experience in a manufacturing environmentThe pay range for this position is $16.73 - $25.56/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
