Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Arlington is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build structural frames, enclosures, and subassemblies for switchgear and power distribution equipment. You will read drawings, follow BOMs, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout assembly.

The role requires use of torque tools, hand and power tools, and basic computer skills. The position shifts start early morning with pay starting at $23/hr, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to interpret bills of material

  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to frequently lift up 35 pounds; occasional lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
  • Assemble mechanical structures, enclosures, frames, and subassemblies
  • Verify materials and components against bills of material (BOM)
  • Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and assembly equipment
  • Install mechanical hardware and components according to specifications
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic assembly issues
  • Record production and quality information using company systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble structural frames, enclosures, mechanical components, and subassemblies used in switchgear and power distribution equipment. You will use engineering drawings, blueprints, bills of material, torque tools, and assembly procedures to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
  • Assemble mechanical structures, enclosures, frames, and subassemblies

  • Experience building switchgear, power distribution equipment, or industrial products
  • Experience using torque tools and measuring equipment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles

Shift: 5:45AM-4:15PM Pay: Starting $23/hr
