Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a skilled technician to operate, monitor and maintain critical facility utilities on a 12-hour night shift. The role offers a stable schedule with 3-day weekends every other week and a competitive hourly pay of $39.52 plus a night-differential.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatment, ensuring safety and efficiency. A strong mechanical and electrical skillset is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-year HVAC/Applied Science or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year utilities operations experience (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration).
  • Ability to pass required medical and respirator tests.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain facility utility systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatments.
  • Manage compressed air systems, RO units, and silo tank offloads.
  • Oversee cooling tower water treatment and pH neutralization.
  • Support fire protection and energy-management programs.

SCHEDULE

Enjoy 3-day weekends every other week with a consistent 2/2/3, 12‑hour shift schedule.

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Training: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (temporary during onboarding)

Overtime: Occasional OT and weekend work may be required to support business needs.

  • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Computer proficiency for logging and research
  • Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills
