Job summary
Nestlé USA is seeking a skilled technician to operate, monitor and maintain critical facility utilities on a 12-hour night shift. The role offers a stable schedule with 3-day weekends every other week and a competitive hourly pay of $39.52 plus a night-differential.
You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatment, ensuring safety and efficiency. A strong mechanical and electrical skillset is essential.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-year HVAC/Applied Science or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ year utilities operations experience (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration).
- Ability to pass required medical and respirator tests.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain facility utility systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and water treatments.
- Manage compressed air systems, RO units, and silo tank offloads.
- Oversee cooling tower water treatment and pH neutralization.
- Support fire protection and energy-management programs.

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Training: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (temporary during onboarding)
Overtime: Occasional OT and weekend work may be required to support business needs.

- Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
