Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an Aggregates Mechanic Trainee in Tyrone, GA. You will assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant and mobile equipment, and learn preventive maintenance to support safe operations.

You will also support experienced mechanics with mechanical, hydraulic, and conveyor repairs, keep tools and work areas organized, and follow safety procedures during hands-on training and development.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
