Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in the upkeep and repair of mechanical equipment across our aggregates operations. You will perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, and ensure safety standards are followed in a dynamic work environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
• Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
