Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Trailer Mechanic to support our shop operations and ensure our fleet remains safe and compliant.

The role covers diagnosing and repairing trailer systems, performing inspections, and maintaining repair logs in a fast-paced shop in Tonawanda, NY. Applicants should have 3+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong knowledge of air brakes, electrical, and suspension systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or community college courses in automotive technology or related fields is preferred
• 3+ years' experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of commercial trailer systems, including air brakes, electrical, and suspension
• Ability to diagnose issues independently and complete repairs with minimal supervision
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
• Maintain a drug-free lifestyle (BBD complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act)

Shift:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00am - 4:00pm
