You will inspect, diagnose, and repair components, read schematics and manuals, and maintain clean, organized workspaces while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience maintaining heavy industrial or automotive equipment showing mechanical skills and knowledge
• Proven track record of punctuality and dependability, and the ability to work independently
• Hands on experience with trailers or farm equipment
• Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals and mechanical drawings, wiring, and control diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service awareness to ensure client satisfaction during repairs or consultations
• Physical ability for heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and working in various environmental conditions; commitment to safety protocols at all times

Responsibilities

• Keeps maintenance records up to date
• Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trailers, heavy equipment, and related machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various trailer components
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, to repair or modify trailers and equipment as needed
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Assist in the assembly of new trailers or equipment upgrades while adhering to quality control procedures
