Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment. You will work in a safety-focused environment and contribute to minimizing downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience and a strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems. High school diploma or GED is required; trade training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines.
• Advanced hydraulic and electrical systems knowledge.
• Flexibility to priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work safely with a diverse fleet including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil & gas gear.
• Support on-site operations and adhere to Sunbelt safety standards.
