Job description

As a PM Technician, you are an integral member of the Engineering Team, responsible for maintaining the condition, reliability, and performance of resort satellite buildings, off-campus housing systems, and equipment. You will perform multi-skilled preventive and mechanical maintenance, inspections, servicing, repairs, and equipment overhauls while coordinating your daily workflow independently. Your work directly supports safe, efficient, and dependable resort operations.

What You Will Create
  • Perform general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance, inspections, servicing, repairs, and equipment overhauls for resort satellite buildings
  • Maintain and repair resort buildings, off-campus housing systems, and equipment using appropriate tools, materials, and maintenance practices
  • Independently coordinate daily workflow for assigned building projects and maintenance responsibilities
  • Prioritize repair requests and plan work to ensure necessary parts and materials are available and tasks are completed efficiently
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and complete other maintenance actions in accordance with established checklists
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines operating smoothly, building systems operating efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings from deteriorating
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units and equipment, including filters, condensate pans and drains, belts, and motors
  • Respond to 24-hour emergency calls for assigned work areas when required, performing emergency building or equipment repairs during off-duty hours using vehicles, telephones, hand tools, power tools, specialty tools, and necessary materials
  • Receive and review work orders and requests to determine estimated costs and labor-hour requirements
  • Requisition and purchase supplies and materials needed to complete assigned work
  • Perform prescribed maintenance checks according to established schedules
  • Use the Manager Plus system and participate in the preventive maintenance program as required
  • Perform snow removal, rotating shifts, and other Engineering Team duties as assigned by the Vice President of Engineering or designee
  • Work collaboratively with managers and associates to support efficient completion of maintenance needs
  • Use computers, cell phones, and technology applications to request, receive, and process work orders

  • Continued development of multi-skilled maintenance capabilities across resort facilities and systems

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of general building maintenance experience or equivalent technical training
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to effectively use computers, cell phones, and technology applications to request, receive, and process work orders
  • Ability to use respirators when required for certain tasks
