Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled PM on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles in Tonawanda, NY.

The role requires maintaining PM logs, communicating with the head mechanic, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (vocational automotive training preferred) and 2+ years of PM experience with heavy vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive tech preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in preventative maintenance on commercial trucks.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and truck components.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Maintain accurate PM logs, service records, and inspection documentation.
• Communicate vehicle status and repair needs with the head mechanic and fleet management team.
• Follow all company safety standards and federal regulations.
• Support shop cleanliness, organization, and inventory control.

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to support our shop operations and ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles
• Maintain accurate PM logs, service records, and inspection documentation
• Communicate vehicle status and repair needs with the head mechanic and fleet management team
• Follow all company safety standards and federal regulations
• Support shop cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
