Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent. Apprentice or on-the-job training. Technical training or certification in diesel or heavy equipment repair preferred.
S kill(s): Strong mechanical and technical knowledge; excellent problem-solving and diagnostic ability; demonstrated knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems; adept at using diagnostic tools and repair equipment; and excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
Working Conditions: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.; ability to work in indoor/outdoor shop conditions; operate heavy machinery, power tools, or equipment; work at elevated heights or in confined spaces; handle hazardous, volatile, or flammable materials and operate a motor vehicle or commercial vehicle, requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
