Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Mechanic for the night shift in Pasadena to perform pump repair and maintenance on Sulzer Pumps and compatible equipment. The role requires assembling, disassembling, inspecting components, and preparing reports while adhering to OEM standards and company procedures.

Candidates should have at least five years of pump repair experience, strong manual skills with hand tools, and the ability to travel to customer sites. Overtime and on-site installations are expected.

Responsibilities

Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.# About the roleJob Summary Under limited supervision, performs all necessary tasks in the repair and maintenance of Sulzer Pumps’ and all other manufacturers’ pumping equipment while strictly adhering to customer, OEM and industry standard specifications. Follows department policy and procedures manual.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Assembles all types of pumping equipment to customers, OEM, and industry standard specifications.* Disassembles all types of pumping equipment to gain access to remove, clean, and inspect components.* Removes, cleans and prepares all types of pumping equipment components for inspection.* Inspectors compare and records measurements of component parts to customers, OEM and industry standard specifications using any and all types of measuring instruments, tools and gages.
